This is a painting of the Chancellor of Germany, Dr Angela Merkel. 

This artwork is produced from a photograph taken by Hannibal Hanschke (Reuters) on 17 February, 2016 when Dr Merkel addresses members of the Bundestag, the lower house of parliament, in Berlin, Germany.
